The room was clean, comfortable and had all the basic facilities I would expect in this type of accommodation. Check-in was efficient and staff are pleasant. Great location for a trip to western North Carolina, especially if you are looking to explore the outdoors. The town of Black Mountain is lovely. One of the most notable things was how walkable the town is, it even felt safe to walk around in evening/once it had gotten dark. The Super8 is well located for walking into town/to the lake and also for easy access to highways if driving to other attractions such as Asheville, South Mountain State Park or Mount Mitchell.

I really liked my big bed. one of the biggest i've ever slept in. The microwave was really clean and easy to use. the desk was at a good height to eat my dinner as well. I also had the ability to park my car right in front of my room. That made moving things in and out so accomodating. The heat in the room worked quickly and effectively. Shower felt brand new and the height of the sink in the room made it so i could easily fill waterbottles. Just so many possitive small touches.

Check in was quick and efficient. Staff happy to engage if you want a small conversation. Staff very pleasant. Room clean and tidy. Hotel is located at one end of Black Mountain, but within easy walking distance. Bed was comfortable. Tub was of a size that you could soak (important to us Brits!) Dollar General nearby for things you may have forgotten. Microwave and fridge all working. In the main, quiet, not paper thin walls.

We stay at Wyndham hotels pretty much wherever we travel to and this one here just appeared to need some exterior updating... The rims were nice but again the exterior and overall appearance could use some updating compared to others we stayed in.

Ok so first and foremost this isn't a high end hotel which honestly I don't care to stay at. But I had a nightmare few days being stranded in the mountains due to my car tearing up christmas eve. I found this hotel the price was amazing the owner was o polite and caring. Check in and out was an absolute breeze. The rooms could use some touch ups but other than that they was clean comfortable and everything. This place was a god send. I would stay there again.

We liked the room, overall. It was very clean when we checked in. The location was good in our opinion, close to the shops and directly in front of a mexican restaurant which was absolutely delicious. TV was a huge plus.

I was visiting the area on my motorcycle and had to get a room while I repaired the bike. My last minute same day booking was handled very easily and I was welcomed as soon as I arrived. Absolutely great location, easy access to highway 9 or the interstate and downtown. Clean, cozy facility with kind staff and quiet guests.

Everything was great I just wish someone told us that we needed to request room towels and cleaning. We got back late n had no towels. Other then that we love it. We come a few times a yr. Our daughter goes to collage 7 minutes away. And works at the Mexican restaurant next to the beautiful stream in the parking lot. We felt very safe at this motel. Thank you.
